Wedding in Barcelona with the city in the background

Wedding Photography in Barcelona

Wedding Photographer in Barcelona

Barcelona needs no introduction. But it does deserve someone to look at it slowly.

Why a local photographer in Barcelona?

Unhurried, through the eyes of someone living the most important day of their life. That's what I do. I accompany you on that day and make sure the photos tell what you felt, not just what happened.

"The light in Barcelona is a character in its own right."

The Gothic Quarter: history you can touch

There are corners of the Gothic Quarter that have waited centuries for exactly these kinds of moments. Cobblestone streets where light bounces off the stone, hidden squares the tourists haven't found yet, medieval facades that give scale and depth to any image.

For couples who want photos with character, with weight, with history behind them, the Gothic Quarter has no rival in Barcelona. El Born, right next door, adds another register: more bohemian, more alive, with the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar as one of the most elegant backdrops in the city.

Montjuïc: gardens, views and postcard light

The hill of Montjuïc is actually several settings in one. The Jardins de Laribal, terraced with fountains, have a scale and intimacy that more famous gardens don't always offer. The panoramic views over the city and port give the photos that sense of Barcelona that no urban setting can capture.

And at sunset, when the light falls on the city from the west, Montjuïc becomes something difficult to describe.

Laberint d'Horta: the oldest garden

The Laberint d'Horta is one of those places most Barcelonans know by name but few have really visited. 18th-century neoclassical gardens, the cypress hedge maze, mythological statues, fountains and a fairytale atmosphere that works extraordinarily well in photography.

It is the most romantic and least exploited space in the city for a couple shoot.

Wedding at Parc Güell Barcelona — editorial photography

Parc Güell: the setting that speaks for itself

Gaudí's architecture does the work before the camera even arrives. The mosaics, columns, organic shapes and city views create images that are immediately recognisable as Barcelona.

For couples who want that — photos that shout Catalan capital — Parc Güell is the place. The key is to go early: the morning light and the small crowds of the early hours completely change the experience.

Couple session on the Barcelona coast — Barceloneta

The coast: the sea always in the background

From the Barceloneta to the Olympic Port, Barcelona's coastline offers something few European capitals have: urban beach with its own character. The light on the water at sunset, the sand, the skyline in the background.

For pre-wedding sessions or for the couple shoot after the ceremony, the Barcelona coast gives images with a luminosity very difficult to achieve in any other setting.

Surroundings

Country estates: the countryside ten minutes away

Barcelona has the advantage that in less than half an hour the countryside appears. Estates like Can Ribas in Caldes de Montbui, fincas in Sant Cugat or in the Vallès offer the perfect combination for couples who want to celebrate close to the city but with a natural setting, gardens and space.

For the reportage, being able to alternate the estate setting with a quick trip to the city is an option that very few destinations allow.

Let's tell your story in Barcelona.

I love accompanying couples on this day. In Barcelona especially, because the city has so many registers that the reportage always ends up telling something unique, something that is not repeated in any other wedding.

If you're getting married in Barcelona or its surroundings, let's talk. Tell me how you picture the day and together we'll find the corners that will make your album uniquely yours.
